Product Details
The allotment of share is the issuing of new share to the existing shareholders or to third parties. The Directors of a Company may allot shares in the capital of the Company, if they have the authority to do so.
Some examples where allotment of shares may be used are as follows:
- To raise money for the Company
- To introduce new investors
- To allow Enterprise Ireland or Enterprise Board Investors
- To put in place a group structure
- To fund a redemption of shares
- To implement a bonus issue of shares
If the allotment of shares involves multiple shareholders or the creation of multiple classes of shares, an additional fee will apply. This reflects the extra time and complexity involved in preparing the necessary documentation, as these arrangements require more detailed drafting and review than a standard single-shareholder allotment.
We will always confirm any additional costs with you in advance before proceeding.
