Missed your annual return deadline? A court order can protect your company.
If a company files its annual return late, it pays late filing fees and, if it is late more than once in five years, loses its audit exemption. A District Court order extending the time for filing can prevent this.
If the court grants the order and the return is filed within the extended time, the return is treated as filed on time.
What's included
- Review of your company's filing history and circumstances
- Preparation of the court application and supporting affidavit
- Notice to the CRO
- Attending court for the application
- Filing the annual return with the court order
The order is at the court's discretion. Applications are strongest when made promptly with a good reason for the delay, so contact us as soon as you know a deadline has been missed.
