Transfer shares from one shareholder to another.
A share transfer changes who owns part of the company. Shareholders can generally transfer their shares, subject to any restrictions in the company's constitution. Most private companies' constitutions require the directors to approve a transfer.
The CRO does not need to be told at the time of the transfer. The new ownership appears on the company's next annual return. The stock transfer form is not filed with the CRO, but if stamp duty is payable, a stamp duty return must be filed with Revenue.
What's included
